In the DACH region: MASTER CARPENTERS
In order to meet the growing demand from the DACH region, we are currently looking to expand our network through a select number of local master carpenters, with teams in operation, who are interested in new endeavours. We will provide a thorough onboarding process in the Arolla Way®, as well as all the support materials for you to build an Arolla Home or building, so that local customers from your region can contact you directly to allow for an even more efficient professional relationship.
In Portugal:
TECHNICAL DRAWER
Location: Setúbal
Type of job: Full-time
As the Technical Drawer you will be part of a young and dynamic team, in a company that is also growing strongly, carrying out the following:
Integrate the technical team that collaborates directly with architects, engineers and designers;
Creating accurate and detailed technical 3D drawings using ArchiCAD, CADwork and Cambium that will be used for support the architecture, production, and assembly teams;
Interpret complex engineering, architectural, and design concepts and translate them into understandable visual representations. Collaborate with technical teams to clarify design intent when necessary;
Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards, accuracy, and precision. Verify dimensions, measurements, and scale before finalizing drawings;
Prepare and organize technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOMs), parts lists, and assembly instructions, to support production, and assembly processes;
Revise and update drawings as required based on feedback, design changes, or updated specifications. Maintain a version control system to track changes;
Perform quality checks on drawings to identify any errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements;
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining the quality and accuracy of drawings;
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new CAD software tools, and drawing techniques to enhance skills and improve efficiency;
Develop and maintain strong working relationships within different Arolla teams.
Qualifications required
Training in technical drawings;
Proficiency in CAD software (ArchiCad, CADWork, Cambium) and other relevant technical drawing tools;
In-depth understanding of of industry-specific standards and regulations;
Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately interpret complex technical information;
Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
Problem-solving skills to address design challenges and adapt to changes;
Time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines;
Reliability and independence;
Motivated by teamwork;
Down to earth and confident disposition;
Fluent English and Portuguese, German preferable.
CARPENTER
Location: Setúbal
Type of job: Full-time
As the Carpenter you will be part of a team whilst executing on the following:
Assembly of glue-lam substructure on the screw pile foundation
Assembly of CLT kit on the substructure, Arolla floor slabs, outside walls, inside walls, roof slabs
Assembly of glue lam substructure as columns, beams for additional structures as canopies, terraces, carports, fences and pergolas
Assembly of retaining walls in CLT
Erecting, relocation and operating a tower crane (up to 5 tons) and/or a truck-mounted crane on an UNIMOG base
Window assembly and window reveals inside and outside, shading, mosquito netting, raffstore
Assembly of Arolla floor system and solid wood or parquet installation
Assembly Furniture in CLT: beds, cupboards, stairs, Arolla window sitting sills, beds, pivot doors, sliding doors
Outside woodwork: terraces, shadings, decks
Kitchen assembly
Surface applications inside and outside with SIOOX and color glazings, floor grinding and oiling
Tinsmith work like Inlet plates, gutters, hoes Attic covers, slotted plates Window drip plates Downpipes, barrel openings, cistern inlets
EPDM surface bonding, moldings, gully, gargoyle, roof vent elevated beams, parapet, roof skylights, Retaining walls
Preparations for green roof assembly and irrigation systems
Qualifications required
Completed training and solid professional experience
Reliability and independence
Motivated by teamwork and technical challenges
Class B driving license
Down to earth and confident disposition
Fluent Portuguese and English (preferable)
